Terms of Service
These terms cover every ShipMarket account, whether you buy, sell or deliver.
1. Accepting these terms
By creating a ShipMarket account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms and will note the date of the latest change on this page.
2. Account types
Each account is a buyer, a seller, both a buyer and a seller, or a driver. Driver accounts cannot also buy or sell on ShipMarket, so deliveries stay independent from the trade itself. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
3. Selling
Sellers must describe items accurately, own what they list, and have the legal right to sell it. Illegal, dangerous, counterfeit, or restricted items are not allowed and may be removed without notice.
4. Buying
Placing an order is an offer to buy at the listed price with delivery to the address you enter. Enter a complete, reachable address — deliveries that fail because of a wrong address may not be refunded.
5. Delivering and the 15% driver fee
Drivers are independent contractors, not employees of ShipMarket. A driver who claims and completes a delivery earns 15% of the order total; the remaining 85% is the seller payout. Drivers must handle items with care and deliver only to the stated address.
6. Payments
Order totals, driver fees and seller payouts are calculated by ShipMarket and shown before an order is placed. Taxes and any payment processing fees may apply depending on your location.
7. Prohibited behaviour
Do not misuse the service: no fraud, harassment, scraping, attempting to break security, impersonating other users, or using ShipMarket to arrange anything unlawful. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.
8. Availability and liability
ShipMarket is provided on an as-is basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from use of the marketplace, to the extent permitted by law.
